“Ginger Pelé” joined the Hammer’s in July 2005 along with his centre-back partner at Cardiff, Danny Gabbidon, in a £3.5 million deal for the pair.

He scored his first goal for Irons in a 1–1 draw with Portsmouth on Boxing Day 2005.
On the 1 August 2012, Collins signed for a second time for the Hammer’s for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract.

2017/8 season, it was announced that Collins contract  would’nt be renewed and that he would leave the club in June  Collins posted an Instagram message. he was “heartbroken by the situation”
